Welcome to MarkMakingMusic.com! I am an accomplished guitarist and bassist, specializing in jazz, classical, world, and electronic music. I play six-string classical and electric guitars as well as an eight-string Novax guitar.

10/20/08- I have some new and exiting things going on in my life and career! I won't share anything too personal ;) but will mention that I am joining a new "ensemble" that is currently in a transitional phase. More info will be available to you all once I have ALL of the juicy details.

Also, the "Mandoo" will be unveiling their new project sometime in the near future. The Mandoo consists of Manderson on guitar/ effects/ Ableton and Alex Chapman on drums. We're working on some original jams as well as cover jams. I think you will all enjoy!

8/18/08- I updated my gigging schedule, so be sure to check out any one of my bands! If you are interested in taking lessons in the Fall, drop me a line and as always, don't forget to sign up for my mailing list!

4/22/08- Junk Rabbit, my newest electronic trio, has been in the process of recording our demo. I will be posting some recordings from that session within the week. Enjoy!

2/19/08- I just uploaded new tunes to my Music page. These songs were recorded at Mockingbird Recording Studio on February 10, 2008. Alex Chapman on drums and Tom Casale on upright bass. Be sure to check these new songs out before you leave!

2/18/08- Whew, I'm tired! I spent 8 hours at Zippah Recording Studio in Brookline, MA yesterday with the Kim Trusty Soul Food Kitchen Band. We are currently in production for Kim's (2nd) upcoming full length album. I had the chance to work with Brian Charles, who is an INCREDIBLE engineer, as well as the incredible musicians in our band. Special guest Jorge Najarro (percussion) is joining us on the album as well. It's going to be slamming!

2/22/08- Stop into Gracies Restaurant and enjoy the finest food that Providence has to offer. Tom Casale (upright bass) will be joining me from 7:30 pm till 11:00 pm in the lounge. We will be playing a delicious mix of original compositions and modern jazz.

2/23/08- Check out the Kim Trusty Soul Food Kitchen Band at Grumpy's Pub in Falmouth, MA. The gig starts at 9:30 pm and ends at 1:00 am. That will give you all plenty of time to drive there from Rhode Island. I hope to see you there!
